The Art of Drinking Museum is a space dedicated to the drinking habits of world civilizations spanning 9000 years. The museum has an extraordinary collection of drinking vessels, representing beliefs, rituals, and customs of that period.
It is one of the conceptual museums in the WOW Cultural District, and is located in a historic neighborhood of Vila Nova de Gaia. The WOW District is an integration of some of the endearing elements of Portuguese heritage.
The cultural district contains 6 museums, 12 restaurants and bars, stores, an exhibition gallery, and workshops. Apart from the Art of Drinking Museum, the “WOW Factor” also allows you to experience some of the other themed museums in the complex, like Pink Palace, Chocolate Story, Porto Region across the Ages, The Wine Experience, and The Planet Cork Museum.
